In short. The current version of Tarot Diary keeps every entry on your device and does not send it to a server. No account is required, and uninstalling the app removes your entries with it. If backup, sync, ads, or paid features are added later, this policy will be updated and you will be notified in the app.

1. Information We Collect

The current version of Tarot Diary stores information that you write or select directly on your device.

Entry title, body, and date
Selected card, upright/reversed orientation, and deck type
Mood level (1–5) and emotion tags
App settings (card back, deck preferences, etc.)

This information is stored in on-device storage and is not transmitted to any external server or cloud as part of the app's basic use.

If optional features such as backup, sync, accounts, paid features, advertising, or app-improvement tools are added in the future, the information processed may change. In that case, this policy will be updated and notice will be given inside the app.

2. Information We Do Not Currently Collect

The current version of Tarot Diary does not directly collect the following:

Account information such as name, email, or phone number
Location, contacts, or photo library access
Advertising identifiers or tracking IDs
Copies of your entry text on any external server

If advertising, paid features, or account-based backup/sync are added in the future, the information processed may change, and this policy will be updated with notice inside the app.

3. Processors and Third-Party Sharing

The current version of Tarot Diary does not share or entrust your entry data to any external provider. It also does not use advertising SDKs or analytics tools at this time.

If advertising, crash analytics, paid purchases, or account-based features are added in the future, third parties such as Google, Apple, ad networks, or analytics providers may process some information. In that case, the provider, purpose, and scope of information processed will be reflected in this policy.

4. Retention and Deletion

All entries are stored on your device and are removed from the app when you delete them within the app.
Uninstalling the app also deletes the entry data stored on the device.
Server-side backup or sync is not provided at this time.
For important records, please use the app's Markdown export feature to keep a separate copy.

5. Permissions

Tarot Diary uses only the minimum permissions required to function.

Storage — used to save entry data inside the device.
Notifications (optional) — used only when you enable them, for daily reminders.

6. Security

Entry data is stored inside the app sandbox provided by the device's operating system. The current version does not send the body of your entries to any external server. If backup, sync, AI, advertising, or payment features are added in the future, the necessary network communication will occur and will be explained in this policy and inside the app.

7. Future Changes

The following features may be added in the future:

Advertising
Paid features such as ad removal or additional decks
Account-based sync or cloud backup
AI-assisted interpretation
Crash analytics or usability-improvement tools

When such features are added, this policy will be updated and, where required, your consent will be requested. In particular, any feature that sends the body of your entries to an external server will only be offered when you explicitly opt in.
